Releases are available for Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS onwards. It can be downloaded from here: Download Ubuntu Driver The computer also freezes when I try to change the order of screens in the configuration. We're pleased to announce the first version of DisplayLink support for Ubuntu is now available. If anyone have any suggestion on how to resolve the issue please let me know Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 | 8 GB GDDR6 well, less than ideal.Īlso everything works fine on Windows 11. If I install opensource drivers for graphics card everything seems to work fine but the performance is. For the display link I am using these drivers (version 5.4.1): and for the graphics card driver I tried few different versions (4.60, 4.70, 4.95 beta and now running on 4.95). I have already tried a few different distros (ubuntu, kubuntu, neon, Pop OS!) but the issue was present on all of them. Also if I have monitors connected and try to shutdown the computer it also hangs. The problem then is that when I try to disconnect docking station the computer hands at the screen it was before I unplugged the computer. If I boot the computer without the docking station or with docking station and without external monitors it boots fine, then if I plugin monitors also works fine. the problem I am having is that if I boot the computer with monitors plugged to the docking station and docking station to laptop it hangs on black screen (right before desktop should normally be shown). I am currently running Linux mint 20 cinamon edition on my XMG Neo 17 (E21) and I have usb C docking station with two display outputs with two external monitors hooked to those ports. I have an issue with, I presume, displaylink drivers or maybe graphics drivers.
